Another gift from the Mr. After 25 years, I think he's cracked it. Banana Republic during a Stateside visit. Didn't even need to hint, he just saw it, grabbed it. I was so proud of him.
Some chrysanthemums. Did I spell that right? I loved the blush colour on these and bought two. As you do. They made me smile every time I walked past.
A gift from the Mr. We have a love of all things animal - even were volunteer zoo keepers for about 18 months - that's a whole other story!! But this has a special place in my collection
These came from an estate sale find and I just threw them together and loved it! They will be coming into the shop at some point, watch out for them!
1980s throwback! I honestly think these look like my grandmother's slacks! But I wore them anyway and accessorised like a champ! Sometimes you just have to own it.
French antique jug - from my favourite collector! She specialises in textiles and collects these little gems as she sees them. I can always get one for you, if you fancy?
Red is still waiting for me to let him onto my lap. He thinks he is the size of a lapdog, not the 80pound giant pup that he really is!
One of my favourite finds during my researching - these are Attwood and Sawyer and I am simply in love. There will be pieces from this maker in my shop soon!
Who doesn't love a rose? These from the Mr. as he is wont to do on his weekly trip to the shops. Does it still count as a romantic gesture if I have them on the shopping list?
A delightful 1930s Rainbow Iris Rhinestone necklace - this is a catch and release item - provided I can find a couple pf replacement stones - what a sparkling beauty!
#Wristwreck as named by one of my Instagram followers - a great big mess of bracelets that made me smile all day long
Another critter captured napping on my bed. I acquired the gorgeous French antique quilt from a good friend - she has immense style and amazing pieces, all antiques sourced from France. Clearly loved by Albert the cat. And me!
I have a love of boxes - which goes really well with my jewellery hoard! This is just a tiny glimpse of one that makes me smile
Another way to wear a brooch - not inventive, as many of us do it, but it is easy to forget to attach a little something something once you've bundled up for the cold weather. This was worn on a sunshiny crisp late autumn day and blinded most people on my daily school run/dog walk combo. Perfect!
One of my favourite bangles of all time. This is from Accessorize, I think, bought in the Noughties. It catches the light like mad and I have great compliments everytime I wear. It's a keeper!
This gorgeous chunker is a a brooch from an estate sale. It will be coming into the shop, as soon as I can bear to be parted from it!
My dog Red. He likes to check up on my work to see how things are going. Or just see if now is a good time to come sit on my lap.
A mini chunky stack combo of vintage stone bracelet and costume black stone and cat bracelet from a local designer, gift from the Mr.
Not yet vintage, but a beautiful gift from a friend that likes critters as much as I do
I like to stack necklaces and pins - this is a pared down version! I was bundled up for the cold, and the necklaces, although pretty with their lustre, didn't quite make the grade sparkle-wise. So I embellished with a little brooch. And I love the result
Mr Owl was a surprise find in an estate sale lot I was lucky enough to curate. He's coming into the shop for you to purchase after a little time with me. I do love a critter!
